제주 4 어린이급식센터 개소식 개최
4th Children Meals Center opened for service

The 4th Jeju Children Meals Center (Professor Shin Dong Beum, Director) opened to provide meals for children in Children’s House, Kindergartens and other young children facilities in the province at an initiation ceremony held in the JNU College of Life Science and Natural Resource Hall#1 last Thursday (December 10, 2015).

The newly opened center is one of 59 such facilities authorized under the children meals safe management law and is to be operated by Jeju National University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation under contract with Jeju Autonomous Government.

JNU Vice President Kim Doo Chul, Industry-Academic Cooperation Headquarter Director Kang Hoon, Jeju Welfare and Women Bureau Chief Lee Eun Hee and other officials participated in the opening event.

In addition to providing meals for children, the center operates for collection and dissemination of meals information (training, menu, safe handling of food, etc).
