Prof. Yang Young Chul wins authorship award from Public Administration Society

Professor Yang Young Chul of the Jeju National University Department of Public Administration came away with the 2015 Authorship Award in Public Administration from the Korean Society for Public Administration annual meeting held at Yonsei University-Wonju. The award recognized his writing of the book  entitled “60-Year History Based on Statistical Analysis of Regional Autonomous Organizations.” (Park Young Sa, Publishers,  2015).

Professor Yang was the sole winner in recognition of his outstanding authorship among the books published by the Korean public administration scholars since 2010.

His book analyzed100 statistical indices of the 16 provincial and metropolitan autonomous governments in the country.

Previously, Dr. Yang won prizes for his writing of “Residential Voting System”(Korean Academy of Science Award, 2007) and “Autonomous Government Police” (2008-List of the Best Books selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
