SW파이오니아, 3개국서 인공지능 등 전수한다

SW Convergence Education Center, transfer artificial intelligence, in 3 countries

Software Convergence Education Center JNU (Director, Professor Song Wang-cheol, Computer Engineering) has conducted the international joint projects and IT volunteer activities in three countries, including Bolivia, Mongolia, and Indonesia, for four weeks from 1st to 28th of August.

The SW Pioneer international joint project of the software convergence education center is a part of the World Friends Korea (WFK) project of the Korea Intelligent Information Society Agency (NIA).

In collaboration with Jeju National University’s SW Convergence Education Center, it plans to operate a deep learning-based AI self-driving education program with students from three countries, provide IT education such as graphics, and spread the Korean Wave culture. 8 professors and staff and 37 students participate in the international joint project this year.

Professor Song Wang-cheol said, “Through this NIA-WFK program, Korea’s latest artificial intelligence and IT technology will be spread to students in developing countries.” He also added, “I hope that it will be an opportunity for SW Pioneer students to improve their global SW competency and feel more fulfilled."
