현동걸 교수, 새물리 표지 논문 채택
Physics journal cover features Prof. Hyun Dong Gul's research

Professors Hyun Dong Gul and Cho Hun Kook of Jeju National University Teachers College and Dankook University, respectively, published their research paper dealing with the physics of torque forces in Korean Physical Society organ, “New Physics”, Volume 65 No. 12, and appeared as a feature article on the cover of the journal issue.

Their paper will also be featured on the cover of the physics society’s news magazine “Physics and Cutting-Edge Technology.”

The authors proposed an experimental apparatus to measure the torque force. This proposal was made to help teach the important physical concept of torque to the students at all levels, from elementary to college physics classes.

Professor Hyun and his JNU colleagues Kim Doo Chul and Shin Ae Kyung published their collaborative research on the Mystery Roads found in Jeju Island in the same journal (volume 64 and no. 12) as it was also featured on the cover of the issue.
