JNU ranks at the top in employment rate among Regional Core National Universities

Jeju National University came out at the top in graduates’ employment rate among the National Education Center for Geographic Information Service (NECGIS) universities.

According to the information released by the Ministry of Education, Jeju National University’s employment rate recorded 61.4%, ranking it at the top among the 9 regional core universities. The ranking was based on the 2015 data provided by National Health Insurance Board and Internal Revenue Service.

Jeju National University’s employment rate steadily increased in recent years; 56.9% in 2013, 60.3% in 2014, and 61.4% in 2015.

JNU President Huh Hyang Jin commented that the top employment ranking resulted from the combined efforts of faculty, staff and students.
