GIS Center and KT HighTel to collaborate in smart tourism project

A variety of service infrastructures for smart tourism in Jeju are anticipated in the near future.

Jeju National University Geographic Information System (GIS) Center (Choi Yong Bok, Director) signed the agreement to establish the collaborative relationship with KT HighTel Co. (Chung Hoon, Head of ICT Division) for the development of ICT-based smart tourism system in Jeju.

The both institutions jointly develop the GIS-based smart tourism service system for the tourists. Specific goals of the collaborative efforts include △establishment of the smart tourism service platform △development of GIS-based fusion projects.
