JNU picked for Creative Jobs Center Employment and Labor Ministry
Jeju National University has been picked to receive funding for a 2016 “University Creative Jobs Center” project administered by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, according to the announcement released by the government ministry last Sunday (January 28, 2016).
The grant amounts to 2.5 billion won and covers funding for 5 years from March2016 through February 2021.
The creative jobs center project was established to provide relief for the currently unemployed youths of the country through the employment enhancement efforts of universities, and Jeju National University’s proposal was selected as one of the 20 centers nationwide.
President Huh Hyang Jin expressed the encouragement rendered by the grant which offers the unique opportunity to address the employment concerns of the JNU students and youths in the Jeju region.
