President Huh Hyang Jin to head Korean Council for University Education

President Huh Hyang Jin of Jeju National University was elected as President of the Korean Council for University Education. His presidential term begins in April (April 8, 2016) to serve the one-year term.

He was chosen as the 22nd president of the council at its annual meeting held in The K-Hotel, Seoul, last Thursday (January 28, 2016).

The council works to develop ideas for the university system management and provide support for university education in general.

In accepting the council presidency, he assured to make the KCUE a bona fide main organization to represent the interest of the member universities, especially in communicating effectively with the central government agencies.
