Undergraduate tuition and fees lowered andor frozen for 8 consecutive years

Jeju National University announced last weekend that the undergraduate tuition for the 2016 academic year remains the same as in 2015, accepting the recommendation submitted by the JNU Tuition Review Committee comprised of faculty, staff, student, parents and accountant members.

Tuition for the graduate students rises by 1.45%.

During the 8 year (2009~2015) span, Jeju National University froze the tuition rate until 2011, lowering it by the minimum of 0.00125% to the maximum of 5.7%.

An average tuition is 3.78 million won per student.

This figure represents one of the lowest tuition rates in the country. At the same time, the university continues to rank high in scholarships provided to those who merit them academically and/or financially.
