카카오, 9년째 2천만원씩 장학금 지원
KaKaO provides 20 scholarships to Computer Science Majors annually since2007

The Jeju National University Engineering Education Center-run "KaKaO Track" funded by and tailor-made for KaKaO Corporation (Lim Ji Hoon, CEO) awarded 15 and 5 KaKaO scholarship candidates from the College of Engineering Department of Computer Engineering and the College of Education Department of Computer Education, respectively, each receiving one million won stipend this year.

KaKaO Corporation has provided the 20 million won scholarship fund annually for nine years in a row.

The industry-academic cooperation program was designed to meet the personnel needs of the company through education and training of the students in computer science in April 2007.

The corporate executives and research staff serve as adjunct professors for the bilaterally administered track program through classroom teaching, mentoring, on-site visitation studies, and internship program, etc.

So far, the students completing their education under the KaKaO track program have recorded ~70% employment success rate so far.
