NECGIS Presidential Association discusses shared library networking and other issues

The Presidential Association of National Education Center Geographic Information Service (NECGIS), Yoon Yeo Pyo, President) met its first meeting last Friday (February 19, 2016).

The meeting agenda included △shared networking for electronic journals subscriptions △shared laboratory facilities and equipment △ tax exemption proposal on the private sector invested and managed university facilities (BTL).

In addition, △athletic and cultural events for the member universities △ indirect cost and its increase on government-sponsored projects △scholarship system and its improved management.

Kangwon, Kyungpook, Gyeonsang, Pusan, Seoul, Chonnam, Chonbuk, Chungnam, Chungbuk and Jeju National Universities constitute the NECGIS membership.
