김태곤 교수 등 6명 정년퇴임
Biotech Prof. Kang Min Soo and others retire after distinguished service

A retirement ceremony of six professors was observed to appreciate and congratulate their distinguished contributions to the growth of Jeju National University in Ara Muse Hall earlier today (February 29, 2016).

The retiring members of the university are (left to right in the accompanying photos) Professors Kim Tae Gon, Moon Sung Sook, and An Sung Soo, all of the Department of Korean Language Education-College of Education, Ko Sung Joon, Ethics Education, Kang Min Soo, Faculty of Biotechnology, and Han Sam In, School of Law.

At a post ceremonial luncheon, JNU President Huh Hyang Jin expressed his appreciation for their distinguished services to the university and congratulated their lifetime contributions urging for the retirees to continue to keep in close touch with the university community.

△ Ko Sung Joon. Peace Research Institute director. Author of “Joochae Idea and North Korean Socialism” and other books and papers.

△ Kang Min Soo. Faculty Senate President, Horse Industry Training Center Director, etc. Received Jeju Cultural Prize, and Korean Industrial Technology Institute Presidential Award.

△ Han Sam In. Vice President of Planning, Civic Examination Panelist, etc. Author of 20 books and 120 papers. Received Jeju Cultural Prize.
