김철수 교수, '거국련' 상임회장 선출
Prof. Kim Cheol Soo elected as President of NECGIS

Professor Kim Cheol Soo, President, Jeju National University Faculty Senate and the Department of Computer Science and Statistics, was elected to serve as President of the National Education Center for Geographic Information Service NECGIS at the annual meeting held in Daejeon last week (February 24, 2016). He begins his 1-year presidential term on March 1, 2016.

Previously, he headed Telecommunication Center and Ean of the College of Natural Science, among other positions he held.

The regional national university group, NECGIS, is comprised of 9 national universities including Kyungpook, Pusan, Jeju and other national universities.
