8th Livelihood Science Leaders Program welcomes new participants at matriculation

Dean Lee Nam Ho of the Jeju National University College of Natural Science welcomed the 8th class of Livelihood Science Leaders Program at a matriculation formality held in Jeju KAL Hotel last Thursday (March 3, 2016).

Six two participants make up the class this semester.

The course aims at promoting the awareness of science and technology in the livelihood of citizens in Jeju region. It is the only science program available to the public in Jeju.

In welcoming the new class, Dean Lee remarked that our lives today revolve around science and technology in many ways and the program contributes to the understanding and development of such industries as IT, BT, cosmetics, electric-powered vehicles, wind-electric power, and lava-bed seawater in Jeju.
