Collaborative arrangement with National Fusion Research Institute established

Jeju National University signed the agreement for a collaborative research program with National Fusion Research Institute (Kim Ki Man, President) earlier today (March 3, 2016).

The bilateral agreement aims to achieve the mutually beneficial collaboration in agricultural and food research through fusion with plasma technology, joint forums and symposia, exchange of personnel and student training.

The NFRI is a government-run research institute focusing on the development of nuclear fusion energy. It developed the Korean-version of a nuclear fusion apparatus “KSTAR” for research and training purposes.
