Black Cattle Research Center holds symposium to discuss industrial scale breeding

Jeju Black Cattle Research Center (Professor Park Sae Pil, Director) invited farmers, livestock marketers, researchers, consumers and general public interested in Jeju black cows to discuss the possibilities of their industrial scale breeding in the University General Laboratory auditorium on the JNU campus last Thursday (March 17, 2016).

The symposium was co-sponsored by Jeju Autonomous Government, Jeju Domestic Animals Promotion Institute, and Seogwipo Animal Husbandry Cooperative. The program featured several invited speakers engaged in the Jeju black cow breeding.

At the symposium, Professor Park briefed the participants about the technical plan for industrial scale breeding and marketing of Jeju black cows. He urged the potential breeders actively commit themselves to produce as many a herd of black cattle as possible to facilitate their industrialization in Jeju.
