Jeju Regional Youths Consultation group formed

Jeju National University officials and the area secondary school teachers formed a consultation group to facilitate the education and screening of secondary school youths at a meeting held yesterday (March 31, 2016).

The consultation group membership consists of JNU Vice President of Student Affairs Kim Hee Chul, one JNU faculty member, and 10 area school teachers.

They expect to contribute to the development and implementation of college admission policy and screening methods for the area youths who are interested in receiving college education.

For the above objective, the members of the group will play a role of communication and mutual consultation for the area high school teachers on behalf of their students.

JNU President Huh Hyang Jin expressed the hope that the group serves as a platform to discuss the admission policy and screening as well as regional education issues in general.

The teachers of the group welcomed the initiative the university has taken for the education of youths in Jeju.
