CK Subtropical Agriculture Project participants briefed on Innovative Discovery Contest

Jeju National University Subtropical Agriculture and Bioscience Convergence/Fusion Industry Training Project (Lee Dong Sun, Director) provided a briefing session on the 2016 College Innovative Discovery Contest and Campus Patent Strategy Universiade (CPU) Meet for the project trainees in the college general education hall earlier this week (March 29, 2016).

Ms. Ahn In Young, Staff Manager, Korea Invention Promotion Association, conducted the briefing.

The discovery contest and the universiade meet aim to identify discovery-minded students and educate them about the patent rights and their commercial implications.

In arranging the briefing session for the project participants, Professor Kim In Joong (in charge of specialized education program; Biomaterials Majors) expressed his hope that the briefing session trains for the project participants to be able to generate innovative ideas that are of potential commercial value.
