'한·중·일·독 국제미술교류전' 개최
Korea-China-Japan-Germany Art Exhibition being held in Seogwipo gallery

Upon invitation from the sponsor Seogwipo Art Hall (Yang Eun Kwon, President), the Jeju National University College of Arts and Design Department of Fine Art (Lee Chang Hi, Chairman) plans to exhibit the works of the faculty in Korea-China-Japan-Germany International Art Exchange Exhibition at the Seogwipo art hall gallery from April 1 through 5, 2016.

The JNU Department of Fine Art assembled the quadripartite exhibition program with contributions of the artists from Tokoha Gakuin University in Japan and Tianjin School of Fine Art in China.

For this year’s exhibition event, five German artists participate in the international display of their works.

The JNU Department of Fine Art and the Tokoha Gakuin University Department of Plastic Arts inaugurated a binational exchange exhibition program held in Jeju in 2007, followed by the second one in Japan three years later when the latter commemorated its 30th anniversary of university founding. The Tianjin School of Fine Art joined the two-nation group in 2011 when it hosted the third exhibition in Tianjin, China.

A tripartite exhibition was then organized to commemorate the 60th anniversary of JNU founding in 2012.
