JNU consortium gets top rating for "Commercialization of Innovative Intellectual Properties" project

Jeju National University consortium business project team attained a top rating in its annual evaluative rankings of the nationally-run projects sponsored by the Ministry of Education.

According to the announcement released by Jeju National University on Tuesday (April 19, 2016), the consortium comprised of JNU, Chonnam and Chonbuk National Universities, and Won Kwang University earned the highest(A) ranking in its performance evaluations of 20 consortia nationwide.

As the result of the top score, the winning consortium gets an additional 48 million won incentive.

This year's evaluations focused on identifying practicable business models in the consortium projects particularly involving the transition of business and intellectual property items to the realization of their commercial potentials.

Jeju National University was rated favorably for its practicable business models in spite of its regional industrial and business limitations.
