Jeju High youths visit to experience disciplinary majors at JNU

Jeju National University hosted the 1st Disciplinary Majors Experiencing (DME) Day for over 330 students of Jeju High School yesterday (April 27, 2016).

In 2013, the DME day opened to offer the opportunity to visit and learn about the possible academic majors for regional high school youths prior to applying for admission to specific academic departments at Jeju National University.

The open visiting day program consisted of a briefing session about the application for admission in 2017-2018 academic year, followed by individual students visiting the academic departments of their choice to learn and experience what each unit has to offer.

There will be ten DME days during the spring semester, and the university is accepting DME Day applications from area high schools for the 2016 fall semester.
