With 72% success in bar exam JNU law school graduates post top ranking

The Jeju National University School of Law (Kim Sang Chan, Dean) announced today (May 10, 2016) that 18 of its 25 graduates passed the 5th national bar examinations, posting an institutional success rate of 72% and ranking at the top among the National Education Centers for Geographic Information Service (NECGIS). The nationwide bar exam was conducted last January.

The JNU law school scored a pass rate of 93.8% in the inaugural national bar examinations held in 2012, achieving the top ranking among the core regional national universities.

According to the announcement released by the Ministry of Justice, 2,864 aspiring lawyer applicants took the 5th bar exam with 1,581 succeeding to post a success rate of 55.2%.
