Two juniors win 36th Baekrock Literary Prize

Korean Language and Literature Department juniors Lee Duk Hee and Lee Yeon Hee each won the 36th Baekrock Literary Prize in poetry and novel divisions, respectively, according to the announcement released over the weekend (June 11, 2016).

The prize winning literary works were entitled “Undefinable” and “A Children’s Story for Myself.”

Sixtytwo pieces of poetry and five works of novel were submitted to the competition by 11 writers. Poet Yang Young Gil and Writer Ko Shi Heung served on the evaluation panel.

The winners were presented Presidential Certificates and Scholarship stipends.
