Launching Ceremony of 8 LINC 3.0 Project Groups & ESG University Association in Korea

JNU 3.0 Project Group (Head Kang Tae-young) held the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) University Coalition (Representative University; Jeju National University) inauguration ceremony at Centum Campus of Dongseo University, and signed business agreements holding regular board meetings.
In order to establish a close cooperation system for the project, 8 LINC 3.0 project groups signed a "business agreement on ESG University Association to revitalize industry-academic cooperation based on LINC 3.0 ESG." 8 universities; △ Dongseo University & Kyungnam University in the southeastern region △ Dongguk University in the metropolitan region △ Daejeon University in the Chungcheong region △ Jeju University & Honam University in Honam and Jeju region, △ Keimyung University & Hallym University in Daegyeong and Gangwon region
Through this agreement, each university will cooperate with △ESG-based industry-university cooperation information sharing and joint research, etc. △Collaboration for ESG-based university infrastructure, idea sharing and creation of best practices △ ESG-related company-linked educational courses participating companies and students They decided to actively cooperate to establish a linkage, a program to create synergy through ICC collaboration between universities, and establish a linkage base between regional family companies and support cooperation.
ESG University Association is a national LINC 3.0 project group consultative body newly launched by the Community Contribution Research Association for ESG-related industry-academic cooperation. Since 2017, it has carried out continuous community contribution activities such as 5 Community Contribution Ideathons, 8 Capstone Design Fairs, and 25 Research Seminar Sessions.
Kang Tae-young, head of LINC 3.0 project group at JNU, said, "Shared collaboration through industry-academic cooperation is very important beyond regional barriers," and added, "The project group will have taken the lead in maximizing the results of shared collaboration by practically driving the win-win development of local companies through ESG University Association and strengthening industry-academic networking."
