Research reported by Prof. Kim Beom Seok  and his team recognized

Professor Kim Beom Seok and his team of coworkers from the Jeju National University Faculty of Wind Electric Power won acclaim for superior presentation at the 2016 Korean Society of New and Sustainable Energy annual meeting held in Jeju Lotte City Hotel last week.

The award winning paper was entitled “Design and Functional Assessment of CFD-based 5kW Duct-type Tidal Current Generator Turbine.” Lee Jin Seok, Masters degree candidate, presented the work at the meeting.
