CK아열대사업단, BCR 현장탐방 실시
CK Subtropical Agriculture Project's BCR participants on study visit to race horse business

Jeju National University Subtropical Agriculture and Bioscience Convergence/Fusion Industry Training Project (Lee Dong Sun, Director) organized a study visit to a race horse business under its 2016 Bus Chain Reaction (BCR) program; some 20 animal biotechnology majors participated in the on-site study tour to the Jeju racing park last Friday (June 10, 2016).

The program acronym “BCR” (Bus Chain Reaction) is derived from notation PCR (polymerase chain reaction) widely used to amplify the quantity of DNA in a sample under investigation. Thus, it is planned that a BCR visit triggers other career business/industry establishment in a chain type of reaction.

On the BCR tour last week, the team visited Let’s Run Park (Jeju Race Horse Park) established as one of the horse industry-university cooperation program launched last April.

The participants visited with △Race Park Director △Race Judges △Broadcasting Station △ Virtual Horse Racing Studio △Jockeys Waiting Room △Demonstration Hall.

They asked a number of questions and the host staff responded with comments relevant to the horse race industry as a future career option.
