School Supporting Association fades into history

With the conclusion of financial auditing today (June 28, 2016) the Jeju National University School Supporting Association disappears into history.

The school supporting association started its activities when the university was a two-year college. With the establishment of the multi-disciplinary university in 1982, the association’s constitutions and bylaws became effective, providing support for the educational and research programs at Jeju National University.

The association was declared non-operational, and its financial matters were transferred to the university managerial system, according to the relevant law passed last year. On completing the final auditing, President Huh Hyang Jin expressed the gratitude for the financial and personnel support it gave to the university over the years.
