Agreement to contribute KRW 300 million to the development fund with 7 associations of businesses 

JNU signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with 7 major associations of businesses in the future industry in Jeju to celebrate the 70th anniversary of JNU foundation at the Maison Glad Hotel in Jeju-si, and held an event to support the development of the university with the companies of these organizations.

The seven major business organizations that signed industry-academic cooperation agreements with JNU are △ Jeju ICT Enterprise Association (Chairperson Oh Tae-heon) △ Jeju Bio Enterprise Association (Chairperson Shin Sang-jin) △ Jeju Smart Grid Enterprise Association (Chairperson Lee Dance) △ Korea Information and Communication Corporation Association Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (Chairperson Kang Hee-seok) △ Jeju Star Business Council (Chairperson Kim Han-sang) △ Jeju National University Family Company Council (Chairperson Lee Jae-sung) △ Jeju Cosmetics Business Association (Chairperson Kim Mi-ryang).

Through the agreement, JNU and these organizations decided to cooperate in △ Discovering research and development projects to develop Jeju regions △ Linking between fostering and recruiting local talents in the future industry and fostering and recruiting local talents in the future industry △ Cooperating between the corporate association and universities to promote regional innovation projects based on local government-university cooperation △Making Joint efforts to attract the INNOPOLIS INNOTOWN project, the regional small and medium-sized R&D special zone and △ Supporting the utilization of various information and infrastructure.

Participating companies agreed to donate KRW 300 million to the JNU development fund at the JNU Development Sponsorship Night in the event. The contribution agreement was delivered by Lee Jae-seong, chairperson of the JNU Family Companies Association.
