박사과정 최가미 씨, 국제학술대회 우수포스터 발표상

Choi Ga-mi, Ph.D. student at JNU, the Excellence Poster Award at the International Academic Conference

Choi Ga-mi (Academic Adviser Lee Yoon-kyung), a doctoral student in the Department of Food and Nutrition at JNU, won the Excellence Poster Presentation Award at the international symposium for ‘The international society for nutraceuticals and functional foods (ISNFF 2022)’ held in Istanbul, Turkye.

The subject of the study is "Laminaria japonica polysaccharides impact the products and system health by modulating the internal microbiome and metabolome of ducks“. The study was conducted in collaboration with Professor Chang Kuk-guk's team at Shandong Agricultural University in China.

In this research, Choi suggested that kelp polysaccharide-added feed can contribute to improving animal productivity and health by controlling intestinal microorganisms and metabolites of ducks.

This study was conducted with the support of the Korea Research Foundation's Korea-China cooperation foundation development project and mid-sized researcher support project.
