'Modlock Team, Awarded the Director's Prize at the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology at the Engineering Festival

JNU Engineering Education Innovation Center Capstone Design Team won the Excellence Award from the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology and the Korea Technopark Promotion Association Award, a special award, at the ‘2022 Engineering Festival (E²Festa) Creative Comprehensive Design Contest’ held at KINTEX, Ilsan.

The Engineering Festival (E²Festa) is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and supervised by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology and the Engineering Education Innovation Council. Engineers from 73 universities gathered together, participating in the Creative Convergence Engineering Talent Nurturing Support Project. At this event, they participated in various programs including competitions such as the Creative Comprehensive Design Competition and Engineering Quiz Show, and conferences such as Ecoloquium and Consortium Academy and exhibited their works.

At the Creative Comprehensive Design Competition with a total of 142 teams from 73 universities, "Modlock Team" (communication engineering department, Ko Tae-seung, Kim Byung-joo, convergence design department Kang Ji-won, Han Tae-hwan, and Advider Professor Oh Cheol-hoon) at JNU won the Korea Industrial Technology Promotion Agency Award.

Also, the Grinbi Team (Computer Engineering major Lee Jin-yi, Cho Hyun-ji, Communication Engineering major Kang Myung-kyun, Cho Sung-hyuk, and Advisor Professor Jwa Jeong-woo), which produced "Crop Pest Identification and Control Using Drone Images," won the Korea Techno Park Promotion Association Award.
