JNU Acquired ‘3rd University Institutional Evaluation Certification’

제주대, ‘3주기 대학기관평가인증’ 획득 

JNU has obtained the qualification for the ‘University Institution Evaluation Certification for the Second Half of 2022’ hosted by the Korea University Evaluation Institute, which is affiliated with the Korea Council for University Education.

The "University Institutional Evaluation Certification" is a university evaluation system that has been in effect since 2011 with the aim of providing objective information for opportunities to improve the quality of university education and government financial support. This 3rd evaluation was evaluated by setting 30 detailed indicators in five areas: ▲ University Ideology and Management ▲ Curriculum and Teaching and Learning ▲ Teachers and Employees ▲ Student Support and Facilities ▲ University Performance and Social Responsibility.

In this evaluation, Jeju National University was judged "Pass" in all detailed indicators and was externally certified as a higher education institution. Accordingly, JNU will maintain its qualifications to participate in various government financial support projects until January 2027.

President Kim Eel-hwan said, "This certification was achieved through the efforts of all members of JNU. To mark the 70th anniversary of its foundation, JNU is establishing a new vision and development plan to foster creative talents with future capabilities, and promoting university innovation such as educational and organizational systems.“ adding that ”JNU will continue to do its duty given to KoreaNU10 to lead the innovation and development of Jeju and Korea.“
