Jeju Semiconductor Co., Ltd., scholarship to JNU for 18 years

On the 6th of February, Jeju Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Seong-sik, Cho Hyeong-seop), a participating company in the Jeju Semiconductor Track of the JNU Engineering Education Innovation Center Project, delivered a total of KRW 25 million in scholarships to 10 students from the Department of Electronic Engineering and Communication Engineering at Jeju National University.

 

 

The Jeju Semiconductor Track (JST) is an industry-customized talent training program jointly operated by the Department of Electronic Engineering (host), the Department of Communications Engineering (participant), and Jeju Semiconductor Co.. Jeju Semiconductor, a participating company, has been supporting scholarships to Jeju National University for 18 years since 2005 to foster excellent human resources. In addition, JST selects 10 participating students every year to provide corporate scholarships and opportunities to participate in field training, and strengthens students' capabilities by providing practical and field-oriented education. JST is operated in a virtuous cycle structure that provides excellent manpower to companies.

 

Jeju Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a company that designs, manufactures, and sells memory semiconductors for mobile devices. It is a fabless company that specializes in design and technology development by entrusting to a specialized foundry company without possessing a semiconductor production line. Its subsidiaries include semiconductor memory IC development company (Lamsway Co., Ltd.) and lottery brokerage company (IGL Co., Ltd.).
