The program ‘Listen to the CEO’, established to strengthen the employment capacity of JNU students enrolled in 2022 has been successfully completed.

The program was held as a job-specific course to strengthen the employment and start-up capabilities of enrolled students at JNU, which is based on special lectures and in-depth mentoring by CEOs, consisting of "Listen to CEO Part I: Entrepreneurship“ in the first semester and "Listen to CEO Part II: Foundership" in the second semester of 2022.

As lecturers, the prominent entrepreneurs were invited including Former CISCO Asia Pacific CEO Seo Bo-gwang, Jeju Pay CEO Moon Kyung-bo, Fado CEO Yoon Jong-yoon, Panoros Bioscience CEO Choi Soo-jin, The Greater Tomorrow Center Kim Jong-hyun, JOID Consulting CEO Cho An-jun, and NH Nonghyup Bank President Lee Gyeong-seop.

JNU selected only a small number of students, and conducted a program so that the students could meet great entrepreneurs in person and receive mentoring in various fields, which resulted in a lot of interest from the students.

One of the participating students said, “The program with CEOs gave the valuable time not only to share startup items and thoughts that might be helpful for startup execution, but also to think about starting a business on one’s own, by getting advice and ways to deal with the risks that startup business person could experience.”

In 2023, JNU plans to invest more in order to strengthen the capabilities of JNU students by deepening the program to "CEO Power Special Lecture I: Entrepreneurship“.
