On the 7th of March, JNU and the Jeju Support Center for the Disabled (Director Lee Eun-sun) signed a business agreement in order to cooperate in environmental health support projects for the developmental disabled.

In accordance with this agreement, organized by JNU's Environmental Health Center (Director Hong Seong-cheol), the two institutions promote mutual cooperation in the followings; △Indoor environment improvement services for households with developmental disabilities who are vulnerable to environmental harmful factors △Medical support services for environmental diseases (asthma, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis) with the developmental disabilities △Active cooperation to provide information on welfare services with the developmental disabilities △Promotional support related to environmental health with the developmental disabilities in the community.

Currently, the two organizations are cooperating with each other not only to promote the Ministry of Environment's "Environmental Disease Treatment Support Project for the Vulnerable." but also plan to devote their heart and soul to promotional activities related to environmental health specialized for the developmental disabled in the future.

Hong Seong-cheol, Drector of the Environmental Health Center, said, "Through this agreement, JNU will jointly promote the Ministry of Environment support project and take the lead for the safe life and health with the developmental disabilities who are vulnerable to environmental problems."
