JNU Bongurihoe (Chairperson Oh Jong-eun) visited elderly families living alone in Jeju-si and conducted volunteer activities to improve the residential environment on the 21st of May.

On this day, volunteers moved items to hang new wallpaper inside the house, reinforcing electrical facilities, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and organizing items as they sweated in the scorching sun.

This volunteer group started in April 2013 and has been operating volunteer activities for elderly people living alone in Jeju-si on a regular basis, marking its 10th year this year.

Chairperson Oh Jong-eun said, "It is very grateful of the members to donate their talents even though they are busy," adding, " JNU Bongurihoe will continue to make efforts to create a pleasant and comfortable residential space by helping the elderly who are unable to improve their living environment."
