JNU (President Kim Eel-hwan) launched Hanlimwon, a policy advisory body, on the 8th of June and held its first regular meeting.

Hanlimwon is a policy advisory body at JNU that provides suggestions on university innovation strategies and policies to cope with rapidly changing higher education environments such as declining school-age population, the fourth industrial revolution, and digital transformation. It is composed of experts from various fields, including education, economy, media, culture and arts, and civil society.

The event was held with awarding advisory committee appointed, and discussions on the direction for JNU innovation in response to changes in higher education policies. President Kim Eel-hwan stated, "Hanlimwon will be a starting point for taking the first step toward enhancing university competitiveness and promoting the concurrent growth of the university and the local community."
