Prof. Yun Young-min (JNU Animal Hospital Director), the head of the Volunteer Group said, "JNU Global Volunteer is celebrating its 10th anniversary. It reminds me of old memories to see that an animal hospital with the latest facilities was recently established within the Mongolian Veterinary University due to the achievements of Mongolian volunteer work. In the meantime, this volunteer work has faced various difficulties. However, thanks to the trust that has been built so far, the originally planned activities were able to be completed smoothly. I appreciate the hard work of all the volunteer members and those who supported the work inside and outside. "
He also expressed his gratitude to Dongbang Pharm Co., Ltd., Verbac Korea, Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Pharm Korea Co., Ltd., Elanco Animal Pharm Korea Co., Ltd., Zoetis Korea Co., Ltd., Green Cross Veterinary Medicine Co., Ltd., Co., Ltd. I expressed my gratitude to Korea B&P and Bionote Co., Ltd.
Kim Geun-woo (Senior in veterinary medicine), who actively participated in JNU Global Volunteer in Mongolia, expressed satisfaction saying, "I've heard a lot of stories from senior volunteering in Mongolia before. I was able to observe the natural environment of Mongolia, the current status of the livestock industry, and the breeding environment of various animals, and experience medical treatment while directly participating in the activities. I was rewarded to be able to help locally. It was very impressive to see Mongolian veterinarians working with the JNU Volunteer Group to treat and protect animals even under conditions that are not sufficient. Thanks to this opportunity, I also have made new resolutions for my studies. “
JNU hopes to spread JNU's unique veterinary knowledge and technology, achieve its project goal of fostering experience and global leadership in various industries, and create more tangible results in the future through continuous efforts to revitalize exchanges between universities in the two countries.
