JNU & SNAG Golf’ Joint Cooperation for Education Donation

On Aug. 22, JNU College of Education (Vice President Kim Hee-pil), Jeju Nam Elementary School (Principal Kim Jin-hee), Korea SNAG Golf Association (Chairperson Kim Hyung-dal), and Vice & Co. (Director In Seung-cheol) signed a business agreement and held equipment donation ceremony to revitalize sports and art education donation projects for Snag Golf Sports Education.
Through this agreement, each institution decided to cooperate with each other in the field of sports and arts education donation projects to △Discover and provide various cultural and artistic education donation resources in the region, △Develop and operate a school-regional cooperation program model based on the established network with local institutions and educational donation resources and △Provide customized career experiences and exploration opportunities, etc.
For continued cooperation in the future, the Korea Snag Golf Association donated KRW 10 million worth of equipment for education to JNU's Sarah Campus. In addition, the two organizations decided to develop various children's daily sports contents and the expansion of the base of sports for all.
JNU Convergence Science & Technology Social Research Institute (Director Choi Keun-bae) has been selected as a base university for physical education and arts education donation by the Ministry of Education (Jeolla and Jeju area) in Korea. It will plan, develop, and operate various educational donation programs using local resources over the next three years. As a school-regional linkage support program, it will run local specialized physical education such as futsal for middle school girls, healing horseback riding, and snag golf, as well as various school art education such as convergence art, AI composition, 4?3 art, and little painters.
