JNU Program to Practice Carbon Neutrality in Jeju

On Aug. 14, JNU Regional Leading University Promotion Project Group (Director Kim Jae-hoon) announced that 10 teams (20 students) conducted surveys in Seoul and Suwon area to fulfill carbon neutrality in Jeju from Aug. 9 to 11.
The "GREAT, Finding Way for Jeju Future" project, supported by the Jeju Free International City Development Center (Chairperson Yang Young-chul), proposes development measures which are applicable to Jeju after exploring other areas in Korea.
The advance team under the theme of realizing 2030 CFI in Jeju, carried out various schedules and embodied ideas such as △ Understanding Jeju Energy Policy △ Exploring Sungdaegol Valley in Seoul Energy Independence Village △ Special lectures and surveys by Suwon City Hall, which was selected as a carbon-neutral green city, etc.
The team will present proposals containing Jeju development plans through the project group performance sharing meeting on Aug. 30.
