On Thursday, Aug. 10, JNU (President Kim Eel-hwan) and Jeju Provincial Council (Chairperson Kim Kyung-hak) held a policy meeting in JNU main building. 

At the second policy meeting, the report was made up measures to the issues discussed at the first meeting (Dec. 13, 22) as well as the following issues were discussed; △Expansion of access to breakfast at KRW1,000 △Establishment of a base hospital for the developmentally disabled △Attracting the Global University 30 project △Relaxing the height limit of urban management plan buildings. 

The issues discussed at the 1st meeting;△Establishing a regional innovation platform between local governments, universities, and companies△Establishing a win-win cooperation system between the provincial council & JNU △Establishing a specialized department to foster local essential human resources △Cooperation to improve the system.

The two organizations will continue to discuss and cooperate in the role and plan of ‘Korea NU10’ that can(will be developed) develop co-prosperity with the Jeju community.
