JNU (President Kim Eel-hwan) recruited a total of 1,651 freshmen, 67.0% of the total number of 2,465 selected for the 2024 school year, through rolling admissions from Sept. 11 to 15.

By admission type, ▲Transcripts of students' school records (general students, local talents, equal opportunity) 924 students (37.5%), ▲Comprehensive students’ records (general student, software talents, social integration, equal opportunity, rural students, specialized high school graduates, special education recipients, lifelong learners, incumbent) 647 people (26.2%), ▲ Practical skill (general students, athlete students) 80 people (3.2%).

◇Transcripts of students' school records shall be selected only with 100% student record (42% of physical education and local talent screening) and the minimum academic standards of the CSAT shall be applied (excluding night recruitment units). Practical/performance screening is reflected in 14% of curriculum grades and 86% of practical skills in the case of music, art, and convergence design departments. The Department of Physical Education and Sports Science is reflected by combining 30% of the subject's performance and 70% of the winning performance, and the minimum academic standards for the CSAT will not be applied.

◇ For the comprehensive students’ record screening, in the case of general students and software talent screening, interview evaluation is conducted after selecting three times of students by reflecting 100% of the document evaluation in the first stage. The final successful candidates are selected by adding 70% of the document evaluation results and 30% of the interview evaluation results. In the comprehensive students’ record screening, other special screening (social integration, even opportunities, etc.) is selected 100% of the document evaluation without interviews, and all comprehensive student record screening at Jeju National University does not apply the minimum CSAT standard.

◇ At JNU, students can cross-apply between departments (between humanities, society, nature, and engineering), and up to four applications are available in occasional recruitment. In addition, students can apply a total of four times, including one general student screening or one even opportunity screening for the transcripts of students' school records, one local talent screening, one comprehensive students’ record screening, and one practical/performance screening. In the case of the same recruitment unit, students can apply up to three times.
