The cradle of student growth, a university that creates new values

MOU Signing Ceremony, JNU-Namibia National University of Science and Technology

JNU (President Kim Eel-hwan) and Namibian National University of Science and Technology (President Peter Kartjabi) signed an academic exchange agreement with key officials from both orgarnizations at JNU on Oct. 23.



Namibia's Deputy Mining and Energy Minister (Conelia Silonga), Swakopmund Mayor (Dinamuves), and Vinthook Mayor (Joseph Wuapingen) attended the event as representatives of the Namibia. The agreement is designed to expand academic and cultural exchanges between the two universities through mutual cooperation in the energy sector.



Namibian National University of Science and Technology is the first higher education institution in Namibia, which offers a variety of degrees and certificates in more than 60 programs. Through this agreement, the two universities will expand exchanges in various fields, including the exchange of △ undergraduate and graduate students and △ faculty and staff, and △ joint research.



JNU President Kim Eel-hwan said that JNU will provide support and encouragement for active exchanges between the two universities in various fields including agriculture in the future, starting with exchanges in the renewable energy sector.
