'DREAM' won the 2026 JNU Student Council election, with Yang Yu-jun as President-elect and Yang Jae-hyeok as Vice-elect.

A total of 50.3 percent of all JNU voters participated in the election, which was held on November 19, 2025.

The 58th student council is named 'DREAM.' Operating under the slogan 'Continuing each other's dreams, opening everyone's way,' the council aims to foster shared aspirations among all JNU students and create opportunities for every member.

'DREAM's campaign platform included major pledges such as establishing a digital integrated welfare system based on student ID cards, introducing a waiting list system for class registration, and enabling student participation in budget decisions.

Yang Yu-jun, the President-elect of the JNU Student Council, expressed his ambition, stating, "We will continue to create a better JNU that every member wants to see by uniting their dreams."
