JNU College of Nursing (Dean Kim Min-young) held ‘23 JNU Nightingale Oath Ceremony’ on May 30.

The Nightingale Oath is a meaningful event which the Third-year nursing college students have ahead of clinical practice in order to inherit the noble spirit of Nightingale, who developed nursing into a professional through scientific and holistic nursing as well as pledge to fulfill our responsibilities for the health and well-being of mankind.

62 students, including third-year student Chae Sang-me, participated in the oath ceremony.

At the event, 15 students, including Yu-rim Kwak, a fourth-year student in college of Nursing received scholarships, which included the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Nurses Association Scholarship, the Kim In-soon Scholarship from the College of Nursing Development Fund, the Love Scholarship to the College of Nursing students, Lee Eun-joo Scholarship from the College of Nursing Development Fund, and the Leadership Improvement Scholarship.
