LINC+Project’s Ontact Youths JOB-ARA FESTIVAL was big success

The first, 2020 Youths JOB-ARA-FESTIVAL “on-tact” was finished with a big success last week (September 21~25, 2020).

The event was jointly organized and managed by JNU LINC+Project, JNU Department of Career and Employment and College Jobs Center, Jeju International Free City Development Center, Jeju Industry Academy Fusion Institute, Jeju Chamber of Commerce Jeju Human Resource Development Committee, and Korea Jungbu Electric Power Station Jeju Headquarter.

The program was broadcast live through ZOOM and YouTube, and FACEBOOK, which brought in up to 1,600 viewers.

Job briefing sessions at the event were provided by Jeju industries and businesses including Jeju Tourism Organization, Jeju Energy Corporation, Nong Hyup Bank Jeju Branch, ATS, Jeju Bank, and 14 others.

To help the young job seekers in actual searches, image film and presentation practices contests were held; JNU students Ko Jong Jin (Department of Public Administration) and Park Sae Eum (Department of Computational Statistics) won the best contestants awards, respectively.

A variety of events were also held to familiarize the youths with the measures taken in the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
