Mr. Kang Kyung Min appointed a district judge

Mr. Kang Kyung Min, JNU graduate (2010) and Lawyer, was appointed a district judge last Tuesday (October 20, 2020).

He passed the 53rd national civic examination in law in 2011 and went on completing the 43rd Judicial Research and Training Institute program in 2014. Thereafter, he served on the legislative board of the financial supervisory service since 2017.

Subsequently, he worked for Taepyungyang Corporation as a legal counsel from 2018 through September this year.

As the corporate lawyer, he was responsible a variety of legal issues including finance regulations and Kakao bank consultancy.

He said he would dedicate himself to realize the social justice through fair judgeship.

He is a Seogwipo native and graduated from Seogwipo High School.
