“East Eurasia and Jeju seen through offerings/gifts”

 

 

제주대-동국대, 12일 인문대학 2호관서 학술대회 JNU and Dongkuk University holds conference

 

Jeju National University Tamla Culture Institute (Chun Young Joon, Director) hosts a scholastic conference entitled “Pre-modern East Eurasia and Jeju seen through offerings to the king/gifts in the College of Humanity Studies Hall#2 next Thursday (November 12, 2020). The conference is co-sponsored with Dongkuk University Cultural Institute and its HK+Project.

 

Jeju has played an important role as a hub for East Asia in trade and cultural exchanges in pre-modern times. The JNU Tamla Cultural Institute plans to discuss Jeju produced items as offering and gift in comparison to those available in East Eurasia.

 

There will be a signing of business collaborations at the conference.
