Joint research between College of Ocean Science and Jeju Ocean and Fisheries Institute

The Jeju National University College of Ocean Science (Yeo In Kyu, Dean) established the bipartite collaboration for research with Jeju Ocean and Fisheries Research Institute (Kim Moon Kwan, Director) in an attempt to take measures to the post COVID pandemic.

The two organizations work together in responding to the pandemic induced depression through

△Joint research in the area of ocean and fisheries sciences

△High water temperature and low salt water: Causes and model studies △Share the information technology for fishing boats and fisheries development

△Share 연구 시research facilities and equipment for collaborative research.

Dean Yeo is hopeful that the agreement for collaboration helps activate the Jeju fisheries industry in the post COVID-19 era.
