Book talk “Learning about Jeju ranching through nature and books”

 

 

Jeju National University Central Library (Kim So Mi, Head Librarian) runs a book-talk under the title “Jeju ranching learned from nature and books” with the author next weekend (November 14, 2020).

 

The program aims at providing the opportunity for the community life in Jeju to think about the direction and haling from the COVID-19 daily routines in the 21st century.

 

Author Kang Man would lead the traveling book talk through Seogwipo Soomangri area where stonewalls and ranches provide the natural scenery.

 

The theme book for the book-talk program includes <Jeju area ranchers and culture: Kang Man Ik and Kim Dong Jeon/Kyung In Cultural Publishers, 2015> which introduces the life of ranchers, culture and environment. 

 

The program is open to Jeju public, students and no admission fees. For application to participate, call (064-754-2204) and 40 will be accepted on a first come first served basis. For detail, log on to the library home page.
