WISET사업단, ‘2020 여고생 생명공학캠프’ 실시
WISET Project conducts coeds’ biotechnology camp

Jeju National University WISET Project (Professor Lee Eun Joo, Director) conducted two biotechnology camps recently.

The camps were sponsored by JNU Subtropical Horticulture Research Institute and Subtropical Bio-Gene Bank Center for 57 women students.

Graduate students from the JNU Faculty of Biotechnology served as mentors for the coeds in demonstrating and experiencing biotechnology theories and DNA experiments (isolation and analysis).

The JNU WISET project encourages the girl students to opt for careers in science, engineering and technology.
